  1. Tim, I wanted to stop by and offer a final apology. Sometime back, after I’d left a lengthy comment–which was meant to be a general statement regarding my pet peeve about people who have poor communication skills and are “wishy washy”–I revealed my own awkward communication in these Comment Boxes.

Your reply mentioned that I’d “called you out”–which was not my intention at all, as I don’t call anyone out, whether in person or on blogs. But that’s the way it came across to you–and I’m deeply sorry and hope you’ll forgive me.

No need to reply–in mere moments my blog will show the status as “Private”–which is the step I take just before deleting the blog (it gives me time to clean out all the posts and photos without being interrupted by readers). So, “Private” doesn’t mean anyone’s been shunned, it’s just the way I handle final business.

It is very unlikely I’ll return to blogging–but it was nice meeting you, despite the communication issues which were clearly my fault. Wishing you and your family a Good Christmas and Stellar New Year. Avia Tinder

  2. Please don’t stop with your blog based on my choice of words. I didn’t mean to imply that I was angry, what I meant was that you made me aware that what I wrote could be construed as other than what I truly meant. I’m glad that we had a heart to heart and that you are a part of my life. I would be ashamed of myself if anything I said caused you any hurt and made you reconsider sharing yourself. Please, let’s set up a line of communication with an old blog before you make your final choice.
    Your Friend, Tim

  3. Hi Tim-Bro…I just logged in and found your kind words. My need to probably close this blog have nothing to do with you personally–it’s all about my lifelong instability, and that’s too tedious a story to tell. I DO have tentative plans for a new blog in 2020…though it may be a “no comments” one, since I suffer a lack of restraint and then run from my own self-exposure. I’m a no-win situation all to myself :)!!! I hope things are going well for you and your family, as Christmas is climbing over the back fence (a line from the movie “Minus Man”–have you seen it? If not, it’s “creepy excellence” 🙂 ). My hiatus has also featured a bad fall with significant injuries, so I’m resting up while wondering about finishing my NaNo novel, and pondering 2020 blogging. I so appreciate you as a long-distance friend and willing communicator…wish we weren’t a billion miles apart, as we could talk more easily. Blessings on you and your family in this marvelous season of Light and Hope and JOY–and may y’all be abundantly blessed in 2020. I’m hoping for clearer vision 🙂 (praying for wisdom and discernment, and at least one miracle) If I had your home address, I’d mail you a proper Christmas card 🙂 I’ll end with humor from your eccentric/crazy ‘sister’: “Relax–we’re all crazy, it’s not a competition”. Not original, I saw it on Amazon… Cheers 🙂

  4. I’m glad to here from you. Sorry to here about your tumble, I hope you are on the mend and feeling better. I’ll look forward to reading your NaNo novel when it’s done and your 2020 blogs. I’ll have to find Minus Man and watch it, sounds good! Christmas didn’t just climb over the back fence, it sneaked in the back door too! Thank you for your blessings and well wishes, this is a special Christmas, more on that later. It’s late and time for me to go to bed, I’ll get in touch tomorrow. Merry Christmas to you, I’m sure you’re on Santa’s nice list!
